Subscriptions & Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. You may upgrade or change your plan at any time through the application.

Nature of the Digital Service

The Service is a digital service within the meaning of Directive 2011/83/EU (the Consumer Rights Directive), the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and equivalent consumer protection legislation worldwide. The Service is delivered to you electronically and performance begins immediately upon activation of your subscription or purchase.

Express Consent at Point of Purchase

At the point of purchase or subscription, before payment is processed, you will be presented with the following statement which you must expressly accept:

"I expressly request that Verisense app begin providing the digital service immediately. I acknowledge that once access to the Service is provided and use of the digital service has commenced, I lose my right of withdrawal (cooling-off right) under applicable law, including the 14-day withdrawal period under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013."

This consent is obtained separately from and in addition to your acceptance of these Terms. It is recorded by Verisense app on a durable medium as required by Article 8(7) and Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive and Regulation 36(1) of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. A confirmation of your consent, together with your order details, will be sent to you by email.

Refunds, Cancellations & Withdrawal

Having given the express consent described above at the point of purchase, you acknowledge that you have waived your right of withdrawal (cooling-off right) under applicable law — including but not limited to the 14-day withdrawal period under EU and UK consumer law — from the moment access to the Service is provided and use of the digital service has commenced. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain full access to the Service and all paid features until the end of the period for which you have already paid. No refunds, whether in whole or in part, will be issued for any remaining unused portion of a billing period. Where a subscription renews automatically and you did not cancel before the renewal date, the renewal charge is non-refundable, as the digital service is made available to you immediately upon renewal. Nothing in this section excludes or limits any rights that cannot be excluded or limited under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction. If you are entitled to a refund under applicable mandatory law, you may exercise that right by contacting [email protected]. If you upgrade from one plan to another mid-cycle, the new plan takes effect immediately and billing is adjusted accordingly. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
